Partner of shooting victim Graham 'Kermit' Williamson launches charity in his memory

The partner of shooting victim Graham 'Kermit' Williamson has launched an online charity in his memory.

Dad Graham, 26, was gunned down outside his home in  Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, on August 17.

His distraught partner Amanda, who is mum to their young son, said her heart had been ripped out after the shooting.

She has set up an online charity in his name two months after his death.

The Facebook group, Graham's Rainbow, aims to raise money for Families Affected By Murder And Suicide (FAMS) through a series of fundraisers.

Yesterday the Daily Record revealed Spanish police had arrested a 26-year-old Scot in connection with the death.

He is being held on behalf of Police Scotland as he awaits extradition back to Scotland next month.

A team from the force has gone to Spain to escort him back to Scotland.

It is expected that he will appear in court shortly after his return.

Two men have already been charged with dad-of-one Graham’s alleged murder and have appeared in court.

A spokesman for the police said: “Police Scotland can confirm a 26-year-old man was arrested in Spain on an international arrest warrant in connection with the fatal shooting of Graham Williamson in Blantyre.

“Inquiries are continuing.”
