The opposition will file a no-confidence motion against the government in the next parliamentary session, with alleged collusion in the Senate election among the issues it plans to raise.
"We will file a no-confidence motion in the next parliamentary session, but the timing will depend on the parliamentary calendar and discussions with the opposition parties," People's Party list-MP and opposition whip Parit Wacharasindhu said on Sunday.
Parliament is due to reopen on Aug 25 and remain in session until Dec 22, with the 2027 budget bill expected to be considered in September. The censure debate is likely to be held in the fourth quarter of this year.
Mr Parit said the motion would cover alleged collusion in the 2024 Senate election, the exam fraud scandal, the TH-AI passport project and the borrowing decree linked to energy transition.
