Partick Thistle recreate fan's viral SPFL tweet as club unveil new strip with killer one-liner

Partick Thistle have followed the example of one of their supporters who went viral last week as they announced their new kit.

One Jags diehard on Twitter, @manpreetPTFC_V5, posted a video on social media after it was announced that the club were taking the SPFL to court following relegation.

The video showed him spinning around in a chair and saying: "Someone say court boys?" before swigging a drink from a bottle of Buckfast.

There was no Buckie on display as Thistle unveiled their stunning new strip - made for the first time by O'Neills.

But they did have new boy Ross Docherty turning around in his garden to unveil the new kit and he says: "Someone say new kit boys?" before taking a swig of water.

The new top is a different design from what Thistle fans might be used to with broken stripes in their usual yellow and red colours.

The strip goes on sale from July 1 but can be pre-ordered immediately from Greaves’ online store.

Thistle are awaiting a response from SPFL to their joint submission to the Court of Session with Hearts over their relegation from the Championship despite the season not being finished.

The Firhill club are raging that they were bottom of the league when the season was called but had a game in hand that had they won, would have seen them jump above Queen of the South.
