Partick street raver proves Glaswegians are always happiest when the sun's out

We all know that feeling...the sun's out, you've got the day off work, the tunes are going. It's enough to get anyone a little over-excited.

Glasgow has been revelling in the Easter heatwave, which hit in perfect time for the start of the bank holiday on Friday and has carried all the way through the weekend.

Temperatures have been hitting highs of 24 degrees and Glaswegians have been getting worryingly used to that big, yellow ball in the sky.

This Partick street raver has really captured the euphoric spirit that's gripped the city ever since the Easter heatwave hit.

The mysterious man was filmed dancing to music on Dumbarton Road yesterday - and he fully embraced the 'taps aff' weather, dressed in nothing but a baseball cap, rucksack and pair of pants. Iconic.

Luckily for all of us, his antics were caught on camera for our viewing pleasure. And he's certainly not shy either, blowing kisses to his adoring fans and the camera.

The Partick raver isn't the first person to lose all perspective thanks to the warm weather. We've had a string of paddle boarders and River Clyde dippers this past weekend, as everyone scrambles to make the most of the heatwave.

What can we say? Glaswegians are always on top form when the sun comes out to play.
