Arsenal’s summer transfer business doesn’t appear to be over just yet.
The Gunners have done some impressive work in the window to date, with Mikel Arteta signing Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes and bringing back Dani Ceballos on loan for the season.
Arteta will be eyeing more to bring in this window, as well.
With finances tighter even more so this summer than in previous years, Arsenal may have to look at offloading some names before bringing any others in.
Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar of Lyon are the two players most heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
But the Gunners will need to sell in order to free up funds to make their move.
One man who has been linked with a move away this summer is Shkodran Mustafi and the most recent reports suggest he could be on his way.
According to Laziosiamonoi, via twitter account afcstuff, a move for Mustafi to Lazio is ‘gaining momentum’.
The report claims Arsenal are open to letting him go and value the defender, who has been with the club since 2016, at 15 million euros. However, that could come down to 12 million euros.
Arsenal fans were quick to react to the rumour, and were all in agreement over a move away for Mustafi – as long as the money in could be re-invested in central midfield.
