UPDATE: All lanes have now reopened, however delays are still expected due to congestion
A SCOTTISH motorway was temporarily "restricted" due to an emergency incident.
Traffic Scotland said lane one of the northbound carriageway at Junction 1 (Dumbreck Interchange) of the M77 was restricted following a three-vehicle crash.
Road users are being advised to approach the area with "caution". Meanwhile, delays are expected.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured in the collision.

At 7.55am, Traffic Scotland confirmed that all lanes have since been cleared, although congestion remains heavy back to Junction 3.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
