Parramatta Eels beat Newcastle Knights 40-4, running in eight tries to one

Parramatta has consolidated a spot in the top four with a big 40-4 win over the Knights in Newcastle.

The Knights trailed 22-0 at half-time, and the story only got worse for the home side in the second half.

Maika Sivo scored two of the Eels' eight tries for the match, as Newcastle could not back up after last week's win over Manly.

The Knights only got on the board with five minutes left on the clock.
