Parklife ticket registration opens for 2021 festival dates

Summer festival season should still be in full swing, but lockdown had other ideas.

With major events called off since March, we've had to make do with virtual versions of highlights like Glastonbury and Bluedot this year instead.

For young music-lovers in Manchester, the cancellation of Parklife meant another rite of passage they had to miss out on along with school proms and university graduations.

But there's always next summer, at least - and now organisers of the Heaton Park festival have opened ticket registration for the 2021 event.

Parklife will return to the park, on the north Manchester and Bury border, on June 12 and 13.

Registration is now open for access to earlybird tickets when they go on sale soon.

Those who sign up will also be in with the chance to win four VIP weekend tickets.

If you already had a ticket to the 2020 festival and didn't claim a refund, hang on to it - it'll automatically get you entry next year instead.

Organisers are promising 'an unrivalled party weekend filled with the best names in modern music', with 'huge announcements' on the way over the coming weeks.

"Expect more surprises, bigger names and memories that’ll last a lifetime. There’s only one place to dance again," they said.

"Forget the past, here’s to the future - Parklife 2021 is back bigger and better than ever."
