Parklife headline act Young Thug drops off bill - just two hours before main stage performance

One of Parklife festival's main stage performers has dropped off the line up just hours before his set was due to begin.

Young Thug was due to perform on the Parklife stage - which attracts some of the festival's biggest artists this evening.

But just two hours before his scheduled set, the festival has confirmed he's 'no longer able to make it'.

Parklife posted on Twitter: "Unfortunately Young Thug will no longer be able to make it to Parklife Festival today due to logistical issues.

"Set time changes will be announced in the app."

At the time of writing, Young Thug's 7.10pm - 7.50pm slot is empty, leaving an hour and 40 minute gap between Burna Boy and Megan Thee Stallion.

Taking to the main stage later in the day will be a headline performance from Dave, with Mura Masa topping the bill at the Sounds of the Near Future stage and Peggy Gou closing The Valley stage.

Parklife has already got off to a lively start as 80,000 music fans pile into Heaton Park for a two-day dance party.
