Parklife festival 2021 Sunday weather as heavy rain forecast

It’s the second day of Parklife and things are in full swing.

Tens of thousands of fans are making their way to Heaton Park to see headline acts including Skepta and Disclosure.

But, in typical Manchester fashion, the weather is due to take a turn.

The Met Office has forecasted a gloomy day ahead with highs of 16 degrees and 80 percent chance of heavy rain this afternoon.

As we move into the evening light rain is expected, with temperatures suggested to be between 15C and 13C.

Here is today's hour-by-hour weather forecast for Heaton Park, in Prestwich according to the Met Office.

Heaton Park

11am: 40pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 15C

12pm: 50pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 15C

1pm: 80pc chance of heavy rain with temperatures of 15C

2pm: 80pc chance of heavy rain with temperatures of 14C

3pm: Same as 2pm

4pm: Easing off with 60pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 14C

5pm: 60pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 14C

6pm: Same as 5pm

7pm: 60pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 14C

8pm: 60pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 14C

9pm: Same as 8pm

10pm: 60pc chance of light rain with temperatures dropping slightly to 13C

11pm: Easing off slightly with 50pc chance of light rain with temperatures of 13C
