Parklife has arrived at Heaton Park with a host of headliners including Aitch, the 1975 and Little Simz.
The huge music festival is expected to see more than 80,000 people in attendance across Saturday and Sunday. It is set to be another busy weekend for Manchester as there will also be huge gigs from The Courteeners on Friday; The Weeknd and Roger Waters on Saturday night; and Soccer Aid at Old Trafford on Sunday.
While the Metrolink will be up and running this weekend - afterer staff and drivers suspended planned strike action - Parklife fans are being encouraged to book tickets for the Parklife Shuttle Bus service, which will travel to the site and back from the city centre.

Alternatively, people may choose to walk their way back into the city centre if they don’t fancy queuing to get a bus home or want to avoid paying an extortionate taxi fare home.
With that in mind, we’ve looked at the quickest and easiest way of getting from Heaton Park to Victoria train station after the festival.
According to Google maps, it will take you one hour and 15 minutes to make the 3.8 mile walk but chances are you might not need or want to go the full distance and can hop on a bus or taxi halfway through. If you're going all the way, then read on...
There are four entry and exit points at this year’s Parklife festival. The West Gate is located on Bury Old Road, the East Gate on Sheepfoot Lane, the North Gate is inside Heaton Park by the lake, and the VIP entrance is off Sheepfoot Lane by the East Gate.
The quickest way to walk from Heaton Park would be to leave via the East Gate by turning right on Sheepfoot Lane. There will be a clear walking route along Bury Old Road which will be signposted to and from Manchester City Centre.
Once you reach Bury Old Road, you want to walk straight up it and continue as the road turns into Cheetham Hill Road. On your journey, you’ll pass the likes of Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre, Istanbul Restaurant and an ESSO petrol garage.
Eventually, you'll cross through Queens Road as you continue forward on Cheetham Hill Road. You'll soon make your way past a Safestore and the Manchester Jewish Museum as you make your way towards the Green Quarter.
You’ll eventually arrive at a busy junction, near to Manchester Arena. Continue left on the walkway as you make your way towards Ring Road. You’ll soon see signs for Manchester Victoria and can either continue there or head on using the signs to get to other parts of the city centre.
