Dig out your dad's old bucket hat and a poncho - Parklife Festival 2019 could get a little wet.

Greater Manchester is expected to enjoy temperatures of up to 15C on Saturday and Sunday.

But those heading to Heaton Park would be wise to prepare for a spot of rain.

The sun is expected to come out at around 10am on Saturday, followed by a mix of rain and sunshine, according to the Met Office.

On Sunday, we can expect sunshine from around 7am to 4pm.

The rest of the evening is expected to bring a mixture of sun, cloud and rain.

It follows a week of warm, unsettled weather in the region.

Temperatures could reach 19C today (Monday).

Tuesday could bring a mixture of sun, rain and lightning.

On Wednesday and Thursday, things are expected to settle a little, but cloudy skies are predicted throughout the day.
