Parked vehicles stolen in Pilsen, Heart of Chicago

At least four parked vehicles were stolen recently in Pilsen and the Heart of Chicago on the Lower West Side.

In each incident, someone parked their vehicle only to come back and find it missing, Chicago police said.

The thefts happened in the evening hours:

  • Jan. 30 in the 1800 block of South Ashland Avenue;
  • Feb. 5 in the 1800 block of South Ashland Avenue;
  • Feb 5. in the 1400 block of West 21st Street and
  • Feb. 21 in the 1900 block of South Laflin Street.

Four men in their early 20s are suspected in the thefts, police said. Two were wearing black puffy jackets, one was wearing a black hoodie and the other was wearing a light blue jean jacket with a hood.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
