Parked vehicles stolen in Little Village: police

Little Village residents are on alert after several parked vehicles were stolen from streets in the Southwest Side neighborhood.

The vehicles were stolen in the afternoon and evening hours between Aug. 4 and Aug. 17, Chicago police said. Two were stolen from the 2200 block of South Whipple Street and one each was stolen from the 2300 block of South Albany Avenue, the 2300 block of South Troy Street and the 2800 block of West 22nd Place.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
