Parked vehicles stolen in Douglas Park: police

Chicago police are warning residents of a pair of vehicle thefts reported in November in Douglas Park on the West Side.

In each incident, an unknown person stole parked vehicles off the street, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The thefts happened about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 1, in the 2900 block of West 19th Street and about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 21, in the 2800 block of West 18th Drive, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
