A bar on Park Street has reopened following an impressive overhaul, which will see it enter a 'new era' according to its owner.
Work has been ongoing at The Elbow Room for the past few months and it was closed for two days last week to allow the finishing touches to be applied.
The venue, which is split over two floors, has been left with an updated decor, a wider selection of beers and taps, a new cocktail menu and more.
An official relaunch took place on Thursday last week where people were able to take a first look of the updated venue and try a selection of the new drinks.
Owner Ziggi Watkins told Bristol Live: "With a lick and a spray of paint from a few local artists, we have managed to catch up with the times in no time at all.
"We now also boast the nacho shack and popcorn to keep people topped up and there's also a fair few happy hours throughout the week to keep prices low behind the bar.
"Say goodbye to whatever you knew as our quirky pool bar and lounge has something for everyone with two floors, two bars, two DJs and two American style pool bars.
"On top of that there's a new cocktail and fishbowl menu and then to top it all off we're now showing live sports too, which will add to the amazing atmosphere here.
"We are entering a new era as things have really picked up over the last couple of months and this revamp will only add to that."
Since the relaunch The Elbow Room also has new opening times. The club is now open Monday - Thursday 5pm until 2am, Friday 5pm until 4am, Saturday 12pm until 4am and Sunday 12pm until 2am.
Ziggi added that no night is the same at the club, including a Latin theme on Mondays, Karaoke on Tuesdays and 'Fishbowl Fridays'.
