As many as 60 people have been killed and around 100 are being held hostage in a theatre following a series of attacks across the French capital.
Police confirmed there were multiple shootings in Paris’s 10th and 11th district with as many as 20 people believed killed.
Witnesses described seeing “six to seven” bodies on the ground outside the Cambodge restaurant in the 10th aroisdismont. Graphic images on social media showed a number of bodies on the ground, covered by sheets.
Meanwhile, there appears to be an unfolding hostage situation in the Bataclan theatre nearby. French media reports claim as 100 people are being held by gunmen, with some outlets claiming 35 people had been killed.
