Paris Saint-Germain missing four players through injury vs Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a double injury blow ahead of their trip to Old Trafford on Wednesday, with Mauro Icardi and Pablo Sarabia joining their list of unavailable players.

The French champions are already without influential duo Julian Draxler and Juan Bernat. Now it has been confirmed another two players will miss the game in Icardi and Sarabia.

Forward Icardi came off the bench against Bordeaux but felt pain in his right thigh during training, while Sarabia, who also played at the weekend, has a muscle strain.

Midfielder Draxler (hamstring) has been out for just over a month while defender Bernat suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in September.

Ahead of the clash, PSG's star player Neymar said his side must improve on their recent form if they are to emerge from their game against United with a positive result. The Parisians have won only one of their last five games in all competitions.

"We know the importance of the Champions League game on Wednesday," Neymar said. "This is decisive. We didn't play well against Leipzig (in a 1-0 victory), but we managed to win.

"On Wednesday we are going to try to have our best game, play well, but we need to improve certain details, play more as a team, be more organised, otherwise it is going to be difficult."
