Paris Saint-Germain lay out Arnaud Kalimuendo stance amid ongoing Leeds United interest

Leeds United target Arnaud Kalimuendo is a player in 'enormous demand', according to Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier.

Galtier was speaking after the forward scored for PSG in their 3-0 win over Japanese outfit Urawa Red Diamonds.

Leeds are reportedly interested in the 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at RC Lens, where he scored seven goals in 28 games. Kalimuendo, who is also reportedly attracting interest from Newcastle United and OGC Nice, has impressed on PSG's pre-season tour.

“He is a player who is in enormous demand, whether in France or abroad”, Galtier said in his press conference following PSG’s win over Urawa Red Diamonds.

“Having spoken a little with him, and also with Luis Campos, after having had a complete and prolific season last season, he wants to have high playing time.

“I am obviously satisfied with what he does every day in training, with what he brings to the match, then there is the reality of the market, the transfer window at the moment.

“We will see as we go along in the days that come both the position of Kali and that of the club.”

Leeds are looking to add a new striker to their squad to add competition for Patrick Bamford.
