Paris Saint-Germain fans put up anti-Paul Pogba banners against potential transfer from Manchester United

Some Paris Saint-Germain fans have publicly declared they DON'T want Paul Pogba at the club this summer amid a potential transfer.

The Manchester United midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the French capital, after entering the final year of his contract at Old Trafford this month.

Reports suggest that the World Cup-winning midfielder has agreed personal terms with PSG ahead of a potential move, but there is yet to be direct contact between the two clubs regarding a deal. Manchester United are believed to be asking for between £60-70m for Pogba, although they'd rather keep him and get him to extend his contract.

PSG however are only willing to pay around £43m for the player and thus negotiations are needed to reach a compromise. But fans of the Ligue 1 club have made it clear that they don't want Pogba at the club, putting banners outside the Parc Des Princes telling him to stay away.

In pictures published by French outlet RMC Sport, banners outside the stadium and training centre said; "Pogba you should listen to your mother, she doesn’t want you here. Neither do we!"

Back in 2018, Pogba denied interest in a move to Paris after revealing his parents were Marseille fans when he was growing up.

“I’m sure that I wouldn’t play club football at the Parc des Princes. I’m not attracted to that because my father and mother were fans of Marseille so Paris doesn’t really fit into my plans.”

Pogba is reportedly keen on the move but doesn't want to fall out with the Manchester United hierarchy and won't fight for a move.

The 28-year-old has never played in Ligue 1 and has essentially told the club he won't be renewing his deal, after r ejecting a brand-new £350,000 per-week contract with the club.

But the midfielder now seems to be in a rock and a hard place, with fans of the club he is most likely to join should he leave adamant that they don't want him at their club for the upcoming season.

They have already signed Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Sergio Ramos and Gini Wijnaldum this summer as they look to claim back their French league title after losing out to Lille last season by one point.
