Paris Olympics: India's Ankita-Dhiraj pair enters mixed team archery quarterfinals

Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara, representing India in the recurve mixed team event, showcased exceptional skills to secure a victory against Indonesia and advance to the quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics on Friday.

The Indian duo clinched the match with a score of 5-1 (37-36, 38-38, 38-37), outperforming their Indonesian counterparts Diananda Choirunisa and Arif Pangestu.

Throughout the match, Dhiraj and Ankita maintained a high level of accuracy, consistently hitting 9s and 10s.

In a display of nerves of steel, Ankita elevated her performance in the crucial moments, shooting perfect 10s in her final three attempts.

This outstanding effort propelled the Indian pair into the quarterfinals, which are scheduled to take place later the same day.
