Then we turn to French President Emmanuel Macron's two-day visit to Poland, hosted by his counterpart Andrzej Duda, and other members of government.

Macron's office said the trip is aimed opening up new areas of cooperation and stressing the need to protect European democratic values. But the two EU member states still have a lot of meaty issues they disagree on.

Post-Brexit trade is also on the agenda today, with Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the EU's Michel Barnier laying out their opening positions. Top officials in France and the European Union are insisting that any trade deal with Britain will hinge upon equal access to fishing waters.

We also hear from the Freight and Transport Association (FTA) in Belfast, Northern Ireland on how road haulage could be affected by Brexit trade deals.

And we hear about the uncertainty of Brexit as experienced by British expats in the southwestern town of Eymet, in Dordogne.
