Paris Jackson says there 'isn't a label for her sexuality that fits'

Paris Jackson has said she has struggled to find a way to label her sexuality, explaining she can’t find one “that fits”.

Speaking to People, the model and singer said while she is interested in both men and women, she would not call herself bisexual.

“I don’t feel like there is a label for my sexuality that fits,” she said.

“Labels in general, not just for sexuality but for everything, I think, are just ways for humans to make sense of the world, to be able to compartmentalize.

“We’re getting past the need for labels. It’s beautiful.”

Jackson has previously opened up about her fluid sexuality on an episode of her Facebook Watch show, Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn, which she hosted with her now ex-boyfriend.

“I wouldn’t consider myself bisexual because I’ve dated more than just men and women,” Jackson said in one episode.

“It has nothing to do with what’s in your pants. It has nothing to do with what your XY chromosome makeup is, it’s literally just what are you like as a person.”

The model added that she “never” thought she’d end up with a man.

“Thought I’d end up marrying a chick or… I’ve dated more women than men,” she said on the programme before repeating that she has “been with more chicks”.

Jackson went on to say that she has kept many of her relationships out of the public eye.

“The public only knows about three long term relationships I’ve been with and they’ve been with men,” she said.

“The public doesn’t know about like most of the relationships I’ve been in.”
