Paris Jackson's 'scissor cuts on arm were NOT suicide attempt', friends say

Friends of Paris Jackson have denied she made an attempt on her life and instead 'accidentally cut her arm with kitchen scissors'.

There have been concerns about the mental health of Paris since her father Michael Jackson was accused of numerous child sex abuse offences during controversial HBO documentary Leaving Neverland.

Paris herself has already condemned reports she attempted suicide.

But the audio of a 911 call appears to reveal emergency services responded to a “psychiatric problem involving a possible VIP”.

This was then upgraded to an emergency after the flow of blood from her arm could not be brought under control.

Speaking to Mail Online, a source close to Paris said: "Paris was partying really hard that night, but that's nothing unusual for her.

"It turned into a pretty crazy night and she had been acting a little out of control.

"But she says she accidentally cut her arm with kitchen scissors and it wasn't a suicide attempt."

It has been reported that Paris' behaviour continued to be 'wild' while she was in hospital.

Paris has battle with depression since Michael died in 2009 and reportedly tried to commit suicide in 2013.

She spoke out against those claiming she was "refusing to go to rehab” by tweeting: "They didn’t get the crazy reaction they wanted from the doc, and a chill, mellow reaction doesn’t sell stories so why not lie and create a story that does sell ? pathetic’.”

Since her reported spell in hospital, Paris is said to be 'resting at home' and she has told reporters: "I'm good."
