Paris Jackson films herself smoking a bong as she receives guidance from a pal

Paris Jackson filmed herself smoking a bong and posted it online.

Michael Jackson's daughter, who turns 21 next week, shared the clip on her Instagram story with a timestamp of 4.20am, a number associated with cannabis.

Paris is heard being instructed and encouraged by a male voice as she puts the device to her mouth and uses a lighter on it.

Paris lives in California where cannabis is legal.

The video comes after Paris hit back at reports that she'd tried to take her own life following reports she'd been hospitalised after a suicide attempt.

But she immediately hit back, sharing the story from TMZ on Twitter and writing "lies lies lies omg and more lies".

Sources close to Paris told Mirror Online that while there had been an incident that required medical treatment, Paris had not attempted suicide.

Following the reports, Paris was seen out in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, The Soundflowers musician Gabriel Glenn, later that day.

The 20-year-old was met by reporters who asked about the reports.

In a video, one was heard saying: "Paris, how are you?"

She responded: "Oh my god."

The reporter continued: "There was reports that you were in hospital. Are you okay?"

Paris said: "Yeah, it's bulls***, dude."

During the outing, Paris wore a jacket with the slogan 'Puppies, wine and I'm fine' written on the back, although the word 'wine' had been covered with duct tape.

Paris, who is still under the legal drinking age in America, has been open about her struggles with depression in the past.

Paris has previously spoken about dealing with anxiety and depression.

In 2017, during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Paris explained she had attempted suicide "multiple times" in the past, but had found trying her hand at modelling had boosted her confidence.

Police reports suggested Paris was rushed to hospital following a suspected suicide attempt on Saturday.

"At about 7:28 a.m. officers responded to the 7200 block of Hillside for an ambulance attempted suicide. The victim was transported to a local hospital," a police spokesperson said.
