Paris Hilton 'says she loves' Britney Spears after mention in conservatorship testimony

Paris Hilton has reportedly said she 'loves' Britney Spears after the latter mentioned her in during her own conservatorship testimony.

On Wednesday, Spears delivered an explosive testimony regarding her conservatorship which has seen her personal and financial affairs controlled by conservators - including her father Jamie Spears - since her much-publicised mental health issues in 2008.

According to US Weekly, famous socialite, DJ and model Paris, 40, played the Britney single Piece of Me during her own DJ set on Thursday in Las Vegas for the reopening of Resorts World Las Vegas.

Paris is reported to have dedicated the song to Britney, 39, and said to a screaming crowd: “This next song is dedicated to a queen, a legend … we are thinking of you. I love you, Britney.

The Mirror has reached out to representatives of Paris Hilton for comment on this story.

At the same event, Paris had appeared dressed in a costume resembling Britney's blue air hostess outfit from her music video for the song Toxic.

The reported comments from Paris come after the singer was name-dropped during Britney's court testimony.

During her testimony to a Los Angeles court, Spears called her conservatorship "abusive" and referenced Paris' own public allegations of being abused at the Provo Canyon School in Utah whilst she was a teenager.

Provo Canyon School - opened in 1971 - was sold by its previous ownership, Charter Behavioral Health Systems, in August 2000 to Universal Health Services (UHS), and there is no suggestion the new owners were responsible for those allegations of historic abuse.

Britney said during her testimony: "To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn’t believe any of it. I’m sorry.

"I'm sorry, I'm an outsider and I'll just be honest, I didn't believe it. And maybe I'm wrong and that's why I didn't want to say any of this to anybody, to the public.

"Because I thought people would make fun of me or laugh at me, and say 'she's lying, she's got everything, she's Britney Spears.' I'm not lying."

Britney claimed that under her conservatorship she was forced to take Lithium, keep her IUD in her body, and was prevented from marrying or having further children.

Britney alleged: "My whole family did nothing."

After Britney spoke, her father Jamie Spears - who has been a conservator for Britney since 2008 - issued a statement through his legal team, saying: "He is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain.

"Mr Spears loves his daughter very much."

According to Vulture, Gladstone N. Jones, the attorney for Britney's mother Lynne Spears, said: "Today is the day while the world watches while we listen to Ms. Spears … that we put in place a plan.

"That is her mother’s request. That we not leave the court without having a plan."
