Paris Hilton's pledge of support to Britney Spears as she wears Toxic-inspired outfit

While she's yet to speak publicly, Paris Hilton seemed to show her support to her long-time friend Britney Spears with a touching sartorial tribute.

Performing at Resorts World in Las Vegas last night, the 40-year-old DJ appeared to be wearing an ensemble that closely resembled Britney's iconic blue air hostess outfit from her Toxic music video.

In a short clip of the star shared to Twitter, an attendee at the event wrote: "Paris Hilton is DJing at @ResortsWorldLV tonight and wearing an outfit highly evocative of @britneyspears Toxic outfit which I have to assume is a show of solidarity."

It comes after Britney referenced the hotel heiress during her explosive court hearing in Los Angeles Wednesday.

The mum-of-two revealed she had reservations about coming forward with her claims of mistreatment by her conservators due to the fact she didn't believe Paris when she spoke about claims of abuse at a boarding school she attended.

"To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn’t believe any of it. I’m sorry," the singer told a judge during a virtual hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court.

"I'm sorry, I'm an outsider and I'll just be honest, I didn't believe it. And maybe I'm wrong and that's why I didn't want to say any of this to anybody, to the public.

"Because I thought people would make fun of me or laugh at me, and say 'she's lying, she's got everything, she's Britney Spears.' I'm not lying."

The 39-year-old singer was referring to the socialite's public allegations about the Provo Canyon School in Utah where she alleged she was abused by staff as a teenager.

Provo Canyon School - opened in 1971 - was sold by its previous ownership, Charter Behavioral Health Systems, in August 2000 to Universal Health Services (UHS), and there is no suggestion the new owners were responsible for those allegations of historic abuse.

Many eagle-eyed fans have spotted that Paris seemed to be full supporting Britney, liking a number of social media posts regarding her conservatorship battle.

One tweet liked by the blonde beauty reads: "It’s funny the media is trying to say Britney doesn’t believe Paris about the boarding school, but really she was using it as an example and saying if I am going through all of this, and I didn’t believe her at first who is going to believe me."

Another tweet appearing in the star's likes says: " Paris Hilton understands what Britney meant during her speech. She knows it doesn't mean that she doesn't believe her, but that it was an example! #FreeBritney "

While the socialite is yet to publicly make a statement herself, her mother and sister, Nicky Hilton have given comment about Britney's mention of Paris during her conservatorship hearing.

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday, the host asked the mother-and-daughter if they had heard what the singer had said during earlier that day.

After Kathy replied that they hadn't, Andy filled the two women in on the situation.

After being updated on the news, Nicky said: "She should know we believe her. Free Britney!"

Mother Kathy Hilton added: "She’s such a sweet girl and a good girl."
