Paris Fury shares "boxing wife" turmoil as Tyson Fury prepares for Deontay Wilder fight in Vegas

Paris Fury has shared the realities of being a "boxing wife" as she prepares for husband Tyson Fury to fight Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.

Paris has jetted out to the States to support and cheer Tyson on at the big fight on Saturday night alongside his brother Tommy.

But the mum-of-six has shared with friends and fans on her Instagram page the painful mix of emotions she feels as she waits to watch Tyson go into battle in the boxing ring

Sharing an extraordinary image from Tyson's previous fight against Wilder, with Paris kissing his head, she revealed what a "nerve-wracking time" it is for her and her family.

She wrote: "We're here in Las Vegas and we're starting to get ready for Tyson's big fight with Deontay Wilder on Saturday.

"The lead up to a big fight is always a pretty nerve-wracking time but it's a big moment and I'd always rather be sitting ringside and watching with the family rather than watching at home on TV.

"This photo is from Tyson's previous fight with Deontay.

"I know coming out to Vegas sounds incredibly glamorous but being a 'boxing wife' on match day is a weird mix of being surrounded by a huge buzz and feeling totally sick – it’s so hard to watch your husband go through it - but I know being in the ring is what Tyson loves."

Friends sent their well wishes to Paris on the post - including Love Island star Tommy's girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague who said: "Supporting all the way... wish I was there! Love to you Paris."

Bolton boxer Amir Khan's wife Faryal also sent her love, saying: "Goodluck babe."

The Gypsy King comes up against Deontay Wilder as the pair complete their trilogy of fights in Nevada, with Fury putting his WBC world title on the line.

With plenty of restrictions still in place amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Fury’s support looks set to be reduced compared to his previous outings in the US, although he will be able to call upon Paris and brother Tommy who are now in the States.

Paris previously chronicled her journey over to Las Vegas on her Instagram story, and admitted to some relief as she got some time away from their new daughter Athena, who was born in August.

“I really mean it, being on the plane and being able to sleep un-interrupted for 5/6 hours has been like a spa retreat as the baby wakes every two hours so I ain’t slept for eight weeks,” she posted.

Paris also shared her ringside preparation - and what she has in store for her outfit for the big fight.

Paris Fury arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday ahead of Tyson's rematch with Deontay Wilder (@parisfury1 on Instagram)

She said: "Choosing an outfit for ringside and getting ready is always a big part of it for me, usually mix of high street and something a bit special is my usual look - I've brought quite a few options over with me so I can decide on the day.

"The main thing is I'm there to support Tyson and one of the things I do is eat the same breakfast as him on the morning of the fight so he doesn't have to see me eating a bacon sandwich while he has his porridge!"

Paris has also revealed that her first book, about the realities of being a boxing wife called Love and Fury, is to be published on October 28.
