Paris for One is a very short yet enjoyable read by Jojo Moyes. Now I have currently got 4 Jojo Moyes books and heard countless recommendations on this author and I have to say I am really happy that I finally picked up one of her books. Although short this book gave me a short insight into the author's writing style which I really enjoyed.
The story follows Nell who is 26 years old and never been on holiday by herself, after booking the weekend away to Paris with her boyfriend this is all about to change when she gets stood up and decides to go to Paris alone. Alone in a strange city, Nell encounters countless people whom make a powerful impact on her trip: an American Business woman, a French waiter and a quick receptionist.
I found this novel to be enjoyable and hilarious with the comedy being a valuable part of the story. Although predictable to an extent, I did thoroughly enjoy the story. This story has given me the eagerness to pick up another Jojo Moyes book and dive straight into it.
