Parents will love Stacey Solomon's clever £2.59 hack to stop kids weeing on the toilet seat

If you have kids (or a clumsy other half), you'll understand the nightmare that comes with mid-night toilet trips.

Us girls have it easy when it comes to peeing in the middle of the night, but for those who have to aim at the basin in the dark, it can be a lot more diffiicult.

However, Stacey Solomon has come up with a savvy £3 hack to help prevent 'little toilet accidents' in the night, and she says it's 'the most genius invention ever.'

Stacey Solomon shares genius £3 toilet hack

Addressing followers on her Instagram story, the Loose Woman explained how she'd bought a purse-friendly hack to stop her kids having toilet accidents in the middle of the night.

She said: "Most of the time, Joe hates me because I buy some rubbish.

"But today I think I might have bought something that he likes."

Cheeky chappy Joe then responded: "It's yet to be tested!"

Stacey then shared another video on her story, this time showing the new toilet light in action.

"My favourite. Best invention ever,’ Stacey exclaimed.

She added: "No more pee on the seat, because everyone can see it!"

Writing over the clip, she said: "This is definitely the best thing ever when you live with three boys who wake up in the night and don't turn the light on!"

It wasn't long before parents started raving about the idea, with many keen to get their hands on one of the £2.59 lights.

The lights are currently available to buy for £2.59 on eBay, with postage costing a purse-friendly £1.59.

Stacey revealed how the lights had been so popular they had completely sold out on eBay when she first shared the video.

She said: "I didn't realise it'd be so popular, even though it is the most genius invention ever."

We agree, Stacey.
