Parents share their children's hilarious spelling errors that turn innocent words to insults

A dad shared a hilarious note his daughter wrote for her mum, but was left red-faced when her cursive writing made the word 'flag' look like something else.

The dad posted the picture on Facebook of daughter's picture which showed a square split in to sections with each one containing the word 'flag'.

However at first glance, because of the child's curled 'f' the word looks like it says 'sl*g'.

Posting on the Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas Facebook page, he said: "My daughter was doing some hand writing practice this morning and proudly handed this little gift to mummy.....I really hope it says FLAG!!"

The post prompted hundreds of other parents to share the spelling errors of their own children.

One mum hoped her daughter had made an unfortunate typo on a computer game where next to a picture of a slug she wrote the word 'sl*t'.

Another little girl was brainstorming works associated with the word 'rock' but accidentally replaced the 'r' with a 'c', for a very cheeky outcome.

Her mum shared the picture, saying: "This is my daughter’s word map! Ps: the middle word is rock!"

Another youngster drew a lovely drawing of her mummy, surrounded by all the things she likes, including  Diet Coke - but the misspelling made for hilarious results.
