Parents rushing to Sainsbury's as school uniforms drop to £1

Parents are heading to their nearest Sainsbury's stores after one Mum shared details of the retailer's latest offer which sees school dresses reduced to £1.

The Mum took to a Facebook bargains group and said she "couldn't believe her eyes" after spotting Sainsbury's  selling two school dresses for £1.

The post was shared alongside an image of the dresses, which are dark grey pinafores with a pleated skirt-style bottom.

Since sharing the post only hours ago, it has received hundreds of comments from parents desperate to get to their local stores to see if the same offer is available there.

According to comments left on the post, Sainsbury's also appears to be offering school shorts for £1.49 for two pairs too.

In the comments, one Facebook user said: "What a great bargain! Well done."

Another asked her friend to check other stores for her. She wrote: "Can you see if they have any offers at 1 close to you."

A third added: "Ahhhh I have to go to Sainsbury’s! X"

And a fourth said: "I need these."

Like with the majority of items which have been discounted, stock will be limited and can be different at each store. You can find your local Sainsbury's store here to check if its running the deal.
