Parents rush to get their hands on Little Tykes car for £20 as mum spots mega-bargain in Tesco

A mum has claimed she picked up the famous Little Tykes Coupe car for just £20 in her local Tesco.

Emma Louise Harvey said she bought the kids ' favourite toy in Tesco today and paid just £20 - despite the RRP price being nearer to £60.

The car has been a firm favourtie with families for more than 40 years and Little Tykes have even extended the range to come in all different colours and models with prices ranging from £55 to £110.

However Emma claim on Facebook that she scooped a bargain when she spied the classic coupe in Tesco for just £20.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she said: "£20 in Tesco reduced...currently £50 in Smyths!!"

The posted attracted almost 900 comments from excited parents desperate to get their hands on one.

One said: "Which Tesco was this please? Been after one of these for ages!"

Another said: "Oh I need to go to Tesco and check this now."

Despite hundreds of requests the mum did not reveal which store she made the bargain purchase.
