A sleep spray from Boots is proving to be a big hit with parents.
Bloom and Blossom's The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Pillow Spray costs £9.99, and is made with Sicilian lavender, ylang ylang, jasmine, amber and mandarin.
The vegan and cruelty-free spray promises to help soothe, relax and calm your baby so they drift off into a peaceful night's sleep.
Customers have given it a 4.1-out-of-5 rating on the Boots website, and it has more than 100 reviews.
"Sleep spray amazing! Since using this product my little boy only wakes maximum twice a night whereas before it was numerous times. I also use it for my older son who has Down syndrome an he's also sleeping better," one shopper wrote.
While another commented: "I was a little sceptical after using several different types of sprays/moisturiser/bubble bath etc...
"However, pleasantly surprised. Smells beautiful, settled quickly and my baby has slept through every night (bar one) since using it. A product we now, won’t be without."
And other shopper said: "Absolutely love the smell of this baby pillow spray! It's so relaxing and my little boy loves it, too, he drifts off to sleep and stays asleep longer now. I'm certain it's the sweet relaxing scent!"
However, as glowing as most of the reviews are, not all shoppers have had the same results. A few have said that it didn't help their baby sleep.
"Smells lovely, best thing about it is that it acts as a perfume when I pick my baby up to feed through the night... I don’t think it necessarily calms her or helps with sleep, unfortunately. Haven’t seen the benefit there!" one shopper says.
"Smells lovely but sadly had no effect on my baby's sleep," another added.
The Bloom and Blossom The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Pillow Spray comes in a white and blue tube with a spray nozzle at the top.
On the tube is a picture of a caterpillar curled up asleep, in reference to the popular children's storybook character.
