Parents have been left panicked by a nationwide shortage of baby milk, which has seen stores like Tesco and Boots run out of stock.
Mums and dads have been left struggling to get bottles of ready-made Cow & Gate and Aptamil formula milk due to the supply issue.
Danone, the parent company of both brands, says the nationwide shortage has been caused by a problem with one of the ingredients used to make its formula.
The issues appear to be affecting all Big Four supermarkets - Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons - as well as high street chains such as Boots.
For example, Boots has sold out of Aptamil 2 Follow On Baby milk in sizes 200ml, 1 litre and multi packs on its website.

Bottles of Cow & Gate 1 Baby Milk in 200ml and Follow On Milk From Birth in 1 litre are also unavailable.
Meanwhile, all the major supermarkets have sold out of Aptamil 1 First Milk in various sizes.
Worried parents have been complaining about the supply issues on social media.
One said: “Can’t find any 200ml readymade bottles Aptamil 1 or 2 anywhere in the UK. Please advise what the issue is.”
A second said: “Have you discontinued supplying 4x200ml bottles of Aptamil to the UK? I can't seem to find these anywhere.”
Another said: “Ocado hey guys. Cow & Gate 1 first baby milk - you can place an order but it never arrives. Are you having supply issues?”
A fourth said: “Tesco, I can’t get a Aptamil starter pack in any of your stores and it’s out of stock online, can you help?”
A Danone spokesman told The Sun the shortage was caused by “an issue with an ingredient used to prevent foaming” during milk production.
They added: “As a result, these formulas did not consistently meet our standards, so we stopped sending out them out while we investigated and resolved the issue.
"Production has now re-started at our factory and we are sending out supplies to retailers.”
The Mirror has contacted the Big Four supermarkets for comment.
