Five-year-old girl's 'incredible act of kindness' to stranger while shopping in Aldi

A shopper has praised the parents of a kindhearted little girl who approached him in Aldi.

The "sweet little girl", believed to be around five, saw the man in need of help as she shopped with her parents at the store in Bidston, Wirral, Merseyside.

He was so grateful for the stranger's act of kindness that he took to Facebook to say thanks and to spread the "great lesson" the girl's parents had taught her, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Writing in a public Facebook group, the man said: "Just been in the Aldi in Bidston and dropped my wallet at the checkout without realising.

"A young girl about 5 years with her parents handed it back to me. What a great lesson taught to their daughter.
