  • A three-year-old boy who was severely injured after ending up in a crocodile enclosure at Johnsons of Old Hurst, Cambridgeshire, on 18 June has undergone five surgeries.
  • The boy faces at least two more, with his parents saying they have been “living at the hospital” during his recovery.
  • A fundraising page has surpassed £25,000, which his parents say will support his “uncertain” rehabilitation journey and provide financial stability as they are both away from work.
  • A 30-year-old man from Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident and later bailed, with police stating he was ”not fit for interview”.
  • Both the zoo and the boy's family have praised the swift actions of staff and visitors who rescued the child from the enclosure.
