A young girl was rushed to hospital after being struck by a jeep on a busy West Dublin road.
The shocking incident took place on the Killininny Road in Firhouse on the afternoon of February 17.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene after the girl was hit at around 3:20pm.
She was quickly rushed to nearby Tallaght University Hospital where, thankfully, her injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening.
Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí attended a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian that occurred on the Kilininny Road, shortly before 3:20pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, the 17th of February 2021.
"The pedestrian, a female youth was taken to Tallaght University Hospital to be treated for her injuries."
