Parents left gobsmacked by puzzling sign banning kids from 'jumping' on bouncy castle

Parents have been left gobsmacked by a puzzling sign outside a bouncy castle that bans kids from jumping on it. The inflatable toy is a children's party staple which is often overflowing with kids and the occasional intoxicated parent or two, the Daily Star reports.

However, this particular bouncy castle comes with one perplexing rule - no bouncing. Many people were left confused by the image of the sign in front of the blow up kids toy which was posted on Twitter, asking parents to refrain from allowing their kids to jump on the castle.

The sign, which was balancing on the railings in front of the toy, reads: "Strictly no jumping. Parents, please tell your children not to jump."

Many baffled users replied to the social media post as they struggled to find an alternative purpose for the inflatable toy. One person remarked: "Now introducing the walky castle.

"You don't bounce you just walk around on it." Another user mocked: "Health & Safety gone mad?"

While a third mocked: "No! NO JUMPING! Just sit and meditate." Someone else said: "Seems a bit unfair, no?"

This is not the first time a bizarre sign has received some backlash on social media after a homemade sign stuck into someone's garden stirred up quite a controversy online.

The drama came about after a passive-aggressive neighbour put up a sign which wished all of their neighbours a Merry Christmas except for the ones living next door. Some social media users found the bold sign amusing whereas others felt it was a step too far.
