Parents issued warning when purchasing Aldi's Kevin the Carrot toys

Aldi's Kevin the Carrot toys are always a massive hit with shoppers, with the plush toys being massively in demand for families across the country.

Due to their popularity, the supermarket giant has issued a warning to parents with a maximum on the amount that they will be allowed to purchase when they are released in time for Christmas.

The latest collection of Kevin-themed plush toys follow the return of the nations favourite carrot in the supermarket's Christmas advert, "A Christmas Carrot" which aired earlier this month.

The advert introduced viewers to a whole new range of members into the Kevin plush toy range, including Marcus Radishford and Ebanana Scrooge.

Following the release of the advert, the latest collection will be available to buy on November 25 and shoppers are already getting excited about which ones they want to get their on this year.

However, the Manchester Evening News reports that Aldi has now put a limit on the amount shoppers can buy to make sure that everyone gets their fair chance.

Aldi have put a clear notice on their product page that says: "Max 2 per customer."

The limit on the toys is not surprising, considering Kevin the Carrot themed merchandise regularly sells out in-stores and has had shoppers creating huge queues as they flock to stores to get one.

The adorable vegetable is so popular, that they have even popped up on eBay for up to ten times their retail price.

A spokesperson at the time said: "Our Kevin the Carrot soft toys are always incredibly popular. We have limited purchases to two soft toys of each character per customer, so as many people as possible have the chance to buy them. Additional stock will be available in store from December 6 onwards.”

This year's Kevin the Carrot Plush toys go on sale from November 25 at 8am in stores and online.
