Kids are facing a choice of 'eating lunch or going to the toilet' at school, according to angry parents.
The loos at Woodchurch High School in Liverpool, Merseyside have been locked because of vandalism leaving pupils with a stark choice.
Frustrated parents claim their sons and daughters must now "choose between eating lunch or going the toilet".
Emma McGinness told the Liverpool Echo children are "suffering" without toilet use which she claimed was a "basic human right".
The mum said: "They've closed pretty much all of the student toilets with only one open so at lunch people are choosing between eating or going the toilet. I did ask the school what's in place to help children with a toilet pass but I'm yet to hear back.

"There are a lot of angry parents about this. Some children suffer heavy periods or end up with a UTI because they are holding it in.
"One woman's son is picky over what he eats of an evening because he doesn't want to need the toilet in school.
"Their basic human rights are being taken away.
"My daughter came home last week to say she asked to use the toilet pass and spent 20 minutes looking for one that was open and because she was so long she got told off.
"What is she meant to do there? There's just no positive reinforcement in the school.
"It's affecting children's behaviour too. My daughter has ADHD and autism"
Her daughter, she said often chose to go the toilet at lunch time and missed out on eating because there is "not enough time to do both."
She added: "Apparently they had an assembly and were told the toilets would be closed because of vandalism but that's not an excuse. You can't punish the children like that and close them without alternative arrangements."
Taking to social media, Emma asked if other parents were experiencing the same and what their thoughts were on the issue.
One person said it was "totally unacceptable" while another added: "It's not just lesson times, a lot of the toilets are locked during break times too, meaning queues in the only one that's open."
A third wrote her daughter suffers with heavy periods and at one point, she was unable to find an open facility which was branded as "disgusting". Another user said: "The rules have been put in place because of something and all the other kids suffer".
