Parents can now buy an 'anti-nightmare' mist spray to help their children sleep better

It can pretty scary in bed at night lying in the dark and even worse if your child is plagued by nightmares while they sleep.

As a parent, you may be at your wit's end trying to comfort your child and come up with a way to make them feel safe.

You may have tried every trick in the book to get your little ones down to sleep including showing them there are no monsters under the bed or in the wardrobe.

But you may be able to put an end to those sleepless nights as one company Cuckooland has launched an 'anti-nightmare mist' just in time for Halloween .

The mist is described as being specifically developed 'to rid dreams of all things nasty and scary', reports The Mirror .

The idea is to spray the sweet-smelling formula around your child's bedroom which has been infused with lavender which is well known for its relaxing qualities.

Cuckooland's Anti-nightmare mist is sold for £4.95 and has proved so popular that it's currently sold out.

However you can make your own mist by filling an empty spray bottle with water and adding a few drops of essential oils with lavender and rose oils working best.
