Merseyside Police has asked parents if they know where their children are, after a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour were reported across the city.
Officers stepped up patrols in the areas around Walton, Norris Gree n and Croxteth after reports of incidents including hate crimes and criminal damage by gangs of children and teenagers.
As a result, Merseyside Police has asked parents 'do you know where you kids are tonight?'

A spokesperson for the force posted on Facebook to say: "Community Officers from Walton Lane are out patrolling retail areas around Walton, Norris Green and Croxteth tonight dealing with reports of youth related anti-social behaviour. Do you know where your kids are tonight?"
Ten young people were taken home by police and their parents were given advice after anti-social behaviour issues on Broadway, Lorenzo Drive and Stonedale retail park.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are keen to reduce the problems taking place on Broadway, Lorenzo Drive and Stonedale retail Park.
"10 youths were taken home and parents given advice. Do you know where your children are and if they are involved in ASB in these areas?
"Patrols will be stepping up with problem youths activity targeted due to report of ASB, Hate Crime and criminal damage."
While over the weekend, Walton Lane police officers were called to numerous reports of anti-social behaviour involving more than 30 young people creating trouble in the area.
Police said some of their parents were 'blissfully unaware' of the issues their children had caused, a spokesperson added: "We responded to more anti social behaviour on Broadway, Lorenzo Drive and Stonedale retail park involving over 30 youths tonight.
"This time we took 10 home to blissfully unaware parents, most of which were cooperative, some will be having their tenancies looked at by local housing providers tomorrow morning."
