Parents are praising £5 "magic in a bottle cream" they claim cures eczema

A £5 cream from Boots is receiving high praise from parents due to its effects on eczema.

Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Emollient Cream currently costs £5.67 in Boots stores and has five star reviews from shoppers on the Boots website.

One mum titled her review "Magic in a bottle" and said: "I just bought this cream yesterday and can already see a difference in my baby’s skin.

"My little boy has quite bad excema paired with a teething/dribble rash on his chin and neck.

"I put this on him before bed and in the morning it’s basically clear!

"I had almost given up trying different creams Aveno was the only product I hadn’t tried & even cream from the doctors hadn’t made much of a difference.

"Highly recommend this product."

Another said: "I switched to Aveeno after my 8 month old had developed very dry skin and red sore skin in the creases on her legs and arms. After ONE use I can't believe the improvement - 3days later (also using the Aveeno daily wash) all traces of the sore skin is gone.

"The Johnsons is going in the bin!"

While another mum said: "My son has eczema so I thought I would give this a try. I applied it for the first time last night and WOW !! This morning my son’s skin feels like silk!

"Highly recommended."

While another parent said: "This is our miracle skin balm and whenever our son has had eczema or bad skin and needed some TLC, this has resolved the issue and provided intense moisture and protection to his skin.

"It really does rescue and restore the skin."

The cream appears to be popular among adult eczema sufferers, too.

One customer said: "I never usually review but I had to , I baught this after getting an outbreak of eczema for the first time since I was little.

"My breakout was mainly on my face and neck. This wash and lotion completely cleared my eczema in three days !"
