Parents are filming kids slamming their heads against doors and it looks so painful

Each month there seems to be a bizarre challenge that's gone viral on Twitter .

From the In My Feelings Challenge to the where people literally threw slices of cheese at their babies, it just keeps getting weirder.

But the latest social media craze to emerge looks more painful than anything else.

Known as the 'Get that money challenge' the game sees children trying to catch a relative's credit card when it is dropped down a door - but the tricky part is that they cannot use their hands and must instead catch it with their head.

Dozens of people have given it a go (Twitter)

As per the rules of the weird game, if the kid manages to get the card, they are then allowed to buy whatever they want with it.

If they fail, they get nothing but a nasty bump on the forehead.

It's not clear who started the craze, but people all over the world are jumping on board, with big sisters tricking their siblings into it, uncles getting their nephews involved and some even trying it out on their boyfriend's family.

One video has proved so popular online that it's already amassed 135,000 likes and more than 32,000 retweets.

It shows a young buy psyching himself up to catch the card for about 30 seconds, before the piece of plastic is dropped and he ultimately bashes into the door head-first. Ouch!

Unsurprisingly there have been mixed reactions to the challenge, with some finding it hilarious and vowing to try it on an unsuspecting family member.

One user said they thought it was "the best joke".

A second commented: "Umm, WE ARE DOING THIS TO OUR CHILDREN."

Someone else joked that doing stuff like this was the only reason they wanted to have kids.

But many weren't keen on it, with one person branding the challenge "so messed up".

Another said: "All fun and games until your kid has a concussion. Or multiple concussions. Funny, but not a good parenting example."
