Parent shares 'genius' hack for tidying away messy children's games

A savvy parent has shared her tip for putting away her child's jigsaws tidily, and others have been quick to praise the hack as "genius" and "brilliant".

They usually also must be dismantled before being put away, leaving children disappointed that their hard work has been erased.

However, one Facebook user revealed her tip for storing half-finished and completed jigsaws in one piece — and all it takes is one common household item.

Writing on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she posted: "I have a 3-year-old who loves her jigsaws and often has several on the go, old Amazon packages make great jigsaw boards/folders.

"You can put them away neatly and safely and costs nothing."
