Parent on school run caught driving with FIVE people in back of car including baby

A parent was caught on the school run driving with FIVE people crammed in the back - including a baby.

The driver was issued a ticket after he was caught outside St Hilda's Primary School in Firswood, Trafford this morning (Tuesday).

Officers were patrolling the area as part of the Safer Schools Partnership, an initiative to make schools and their surrounding areas safer.

GMP Stretford tweeted about the incident at 10am on Tuesday.

The post, put up at 10am, said: "One ticket issued to parent who drove whilst having one adult, two teenagers, one child and a baby in the back of his car, #unbelievable."

Local police officers also gave a ticket to a motorist who was caught driving without strapping her two children in with a seatbelt.
