Parent crashes into university halls on their child's first day

It seems one parent was a little too keen to drop their child off at university this year, when they drove directly into their halls of residence.

The memorable moment saw a student's parent drive a black BMW estate straight into a window at the University of Warwick student accommodation.

The ‘embarrassing’ incident happened on campus on Sunday, September 26 and was photographed by Warwickshire Police' Operational Patrol Unit (OPU).

They posted on social media: "Yesterday we attended a collision at the University of Warwick.

"Probably one of the more embarrassing ways to drop your child off for their first day of university by literally driving into their halls of residence.

"There were no injuries as a result of the collision."
