Pardeep Plaha: Woman 'found safe and well' after urgent missing persons appeal

A 23-year-old woman who went missing while out on her daily morning walk has been found safe and well.

Pardeep Kaur Plaha was last seen by her family leaving her home address in Leytonstone, Waltham Forest, at 10.30am on Wednesday, July 1, according to the Metropolitan Police.

An Instagram post  by family members said the Brunel University graduate had "not been in contact at all with friends and family" which was "very out of character for Pardeep."

Detectives from the North East Command Unit had asked anyone who sees Pardeep, or has information as to her whereabouts, to get in touch.

But on Friday morning friends and family posted on social media that she had been found, and thanked those who had helped in the appeal.
