Paramedics taken to hospital after collision in Kambah

Three people have been taken to hospital after an ambulance and a car collided in Kambah.

The incident happened about 11.40am on Friday at the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Boddington Crescent.

Two paramedics and the driver of the car were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

It is not yet known whether the ambulance involved in the collision had its warning lights and siren activated.

It is the second major collision involving an emergency vehicle in less than a fortnight.

Two weeks ago, a car and ACT firefighters responding to an emergency call with warning lights and siren activated collided at the corner of Bowen Drive and Brisbane Avenue in Barton.

The fire truck struck the driver's side of the car.

The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old woman from NSW, was killed in the crash.
